History

At this crossing of the Canadian River, there are three parallel bridges: from east to west, the current concrete highway bridge, the old wagon bridge, and a new railroad bridge. In the old Moody Motel building (home of the Cattle Exchange Restaurant, a local historical society, and numerous offices) in Canadian, there are photos showing both the wagon bridge and the original truss railroad bridge.

Date of Construction: 1916, restored 2000.
